We've got another strain release for the Illinois market and we are excited about it -
our legendary Headband is set to hit the stores next week.
This is the first time Headband has been released in Illinois! We were gifted this cut a long time ago and it holds a special place in IC Collective's history. Our Headband was used to win the 2013 San Fransisco High Times Cup; although our name was not mentioned or the cup given to us, it was our cannabis. The right people knew, and it propelled us into the dispensary medical market with Harborside Collective, which at that time was the biggest dispensary in the California. Headband was our stepping stone to the
regulated market and is why we are able to be here today.

IC Collective holds a copy of the original Headband that we've held closely for a over a decade. It is an “OG.” This cut escaped to Nor-Cal from So-Cal towards the turn of the millennium and lived with Nectars Collective in the 707 area code. Similar to the “707 Headband” that is a faker, many fraudulent “Headbands” come and go - the strain is super difficult to grow, never has impressive lab results, and the returns to hash are minimal. The flowers barely hit 23% THC in testing results, but the wonders of Headband terpenes and compounds have brought heavy users questioning their next move and newcomers to
